Guest Information & Cabin Policies

Cabins are open May-Oct

We want your time at Elsie’s to feel relaxed, peaceful, and easy. The following guidelines help ensure every guest enjoys their stay.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM.
Check-out is at 10:00 AM.

On the morning of departure, please wash, dry, and put away all dishes before leaving.

Beach Access

All guests of Elsie’s are welcome to enjoy the beach and shoreline. The two stairways leading to the beach are shared by everyone staying with us.

Because these stairways are located near cabins, we kindly ask that you use them respectfully and quietly, keeping in mind the privacy and peacefulness of nearby guests.

The small bridge that leads to a private rocky island is reserved exclusively for guests of Cabin #6 during their visit. We appreciate your cooperation in honoring this private space.

Please bring your own beach towels. Cabin bath towels may not be used outside. Paper towels are provided for outdoor cleaning.

Fire Pits

Each cabin has its own private fire pit. Please use fire pits responsibly and follow all local fire safety guidelines. Never leave a fire unattended and ensure it is fully extinguished before turning in for the night.

Traveling With Your Dog

Dogs are welcome in most cabins; however, pets are not permitted in Cabin #6.

If you plan to bring a dog, it must be registered prior to arrival. There is an additional charge of $60 for the first night and $10 for each additional night, plus tax.

For the comfort and safety of all guests, dogs must be well-trained, non-aggressive, quiet, and safe around other guests and children. Guests are required to pick up and properly dispose of all animal waste.

Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture. Please use the dog sheets provided or bring your own dog bed. Additional sheets are available upon request. Any pet-related damage is the responsibility of the owner. Please bring your own towels for your dog. Guest towels may not be used for pets.

If traveling with multiple cabins, pets must remain in the cabin assigned to you and may not enter other cabins.

Pets may not be left unattended in cabins unless they are crated, calm, and quiet. If your dog tends to bark or becomes anxious when left alone, we insist that you bring them with you. Many local shops, restaurants, and outdoor spots in town are dog-friendly and happy to welcome well-behaved pets. Dogs that bark continuously or disturb other guests may not be left alone, even if crated.

We reserve the right to require the removal of any disruptive or unsafe pet.

We love being a pet-friendly resort and appreciate your help in keeping it that way for all guests, including those who do not travel with pets and those arriving after you.
